How To Deep Clean Your Bathroom

Your Bathrooms Deserves Attention!

Are you looking to renovate your bathroom on a budget? Before you consider an entire remodel, why not see which parts to preserve? Seeing as your bathroom is the most vulnerable place for dirt, grime and bacteria, this unglamorous job is one that is necessary but could also save you money in the long run!

Start by clearing your bathroom of any clutter that may cross your path and interfere with your rhythm once you begin. This includes toiletries, bath mats, decorative ornaments and items. Space is key, as it will give you a perspective into every nook and cranny of your walls, tiles, flooring and fixtures.

Next, dust and sweep your bathroom to remove any grime that has accumulated on the surfaces of this room. It goes without saying that dusting takes place first, so that any dirt not caught by the cloth can be vacuumed or swept afterwards. This is the foundation to any clean bathroom, something we're sure you typically do when cleaning.

Once your bathroom is clear of visible grime and dust, begin washing down shower walls and tiles. If you haven't tackled this in a while, now is the time to really go for it! Start this process by wetting the walls and floor of the shower to pinpoint any underlying mildew - usually, this builds up in the grount between each tile. Treating this with either a commercial grout cleaning product or homemade solution, applying for 10 minutes before using an abrasive sponge to scrub away at the troublesome areas.

Note: Make sure that you consider the materials in and around the shower, to ensure that you purchase corresponding products specific to the purpose of your fixtures and fittings.

Afterwards, it's time to turn our attention to the shower doors or curtains as well as mats and other fabric based accessories. Most bathroom curtains, liners and mats can be chucked into the washing machine along with sensitive detergent. For those with shower doors, consider a squeegee over a cloth to remove stubborn marks, whilst eliminating the risk of fibres and dirt sticking to the glass.

Once the shower is sparkling and your reflection is visible in your shower unit and taps, it's time to deep clean the toilet. Yes, we know, this is always the worst part! Throughly scrub the inside of the toilet bowl with bleach and toilet cleaner before leaving this to soak for 15 - 30 minutes. After the solution has settled in, close the lid and cover the entire exterior of your toilet with high quality, disinfectant spray. Clean each side of the lid and seat, paying particular attention to the flusher and the places most commonly used to lift the seat. We're almost there now... Simply clean the rim of the bowl and the inner section unsuitable to the brush, where the bowl meets the rim.

Finally, it's time to deep clean the bathroom floors. Unfortunately, vacuuming just isn't enough when it comes to bacteria, so, you'll need to mop! Make your own solution, considering a minuscule amount of bleach in proportion to the warm water sitting in your bucket (one or two tablespoons). Before the mop even touches the floor, turn on your shower, switch off the vents and close all windows - allowing the room to fill with steam. Let this linger for a little while before making that floor glisten, taking caution in the toxins you're inhaling (consider using a mask, re-open the windows, door, etc). Reopen the vents/switch on the ventilation and allow every surface to fully dry!

Living rooms are often the centrepiece of a home, but when space is limited, it can be challenging to design a room that is both functional and stylish. However, with a little creativity and strategic planning, it is possible to create a beautiful living room in even the smallest of spaces. One of the most important things to consider when designing a small living room is to choose furniture that is both functional and versatile. A sofa that doubles as a bed, for example, can provide extra sleeping space for guests without taking up too much room. Similarly, a coffee table that can be transformed into a dining table can serve multiple purposes and save valuable floor space. New Paragraph

Bathrooms come in all shapes and sizes, and the layout can make a big difference in how functional and comfortable the space is. Looking for a Thetford-based bathroom installer? Wanting to plan the perfect design? This blog post will help you consider all of the elements needed for a successful bathroom renovation before you begin your bathroom fitting in 2023! Here are five popular bathroom layout designs to consider for your next renovation or new home build: The traditional layout: This is the most common bathroom layout, featuring a vanity with a sink, toilet, and shower or bathtub. This layout is efficient and easy to navigate, making it a great option for smaller bathrooms. The L-shaped layout: This layout is similar to the traditional layout but with the addition of a second vanity and sink. This layout is perfect for shared bathrooms or for those who want a little more counter space. The U-shaped layout: This layout features a vanity with a sink, toilet, and bathtub or shower on one wall, with a second vanity and sink on the opposite wall. This layout is great for larger bathrooms and provides ample counter space and storage. The walk-in shower layout: This layout features a large walk-in shower, a vanity with a sink, and a toilet. This layout is perfect for those who prefer a shower over a bathtub and want a more open and modern feel to their bathroom. The spa layout: This layout features a large soaking tub, a separate shower, a double vanity with two sinks, and a toilet. This layout is perfect for those who want a luxurious and relaxing bathroom experience. New Paragraph
